Woodstock to Celebrate 50th Anniversary at Original Site
The iconic music festival Woodstock will celebrate its 50th anniversary at its original site, The Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. The venue announced on Thursday, December 27 that it will host the event from August 16 to 18, 2019. Being billed as Bethel Woods Music and Culture Festival, the event will include live music from prominent and emerging artists, TED-style talks, and special exhibits.

The original Woodstock Festival took place from August 15 to August 18, 1969. The biggest acts to play the event included Jimi Hendrix, Santana, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Janis Joplin, and The Who.
