Foreigner Headed to Las Vegas for Ten Date Residency in 2020
Foreigner is set to play ten dates at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas starting in January 2020. The band behind numerous hits such as “Feels Like the First Time,” “Hot Blooded,” “Waiting for a Girl Like You,” and “I Want to Know What Love Is” will have quite the task of narrowing down a setlist. Frontman Kelly Hansen told Billboard ,
"If you take a look at Foreigner's catalog, there are sixteen Top 30 hits, and [in planning a show like this] the problem becomes ‘what songs do you leave out?’ Do you do some songs acoustically or do you give them all the classic presentation? These are all discussions that we have in creating a set list, but you're definitely going to hear all of the big ones for sure."
Foreigner is currently led by founding guitarist Mick Jones, drummer Chris Frazier, keyboardist Michael Bluestein, bassist Jeff Pilson, guitarist Bruce Watson, and multi-instrumentalist Thom Gimbel.
The dates for their residency are:
January 24, 25, 29, 31
April 17, 18, 22, 24, 25
