Bourbon House Display Grit and Soul on Latest Album 'Into the Red'

Blues rock band Bourbon House display both grit and soul on their latest ten track album release Into the Red.

From the opening verse vocalist Lacey Crowe sings on track one “Dead in the Water,” listeners can be assured that they are in for a treat. The track oozes raw emotion of 70s classic rock. The power in Crowe’s voice on top of guitarist Jason Clark’s punchy riff amplifies the listener’s adrenaline.

Track five transitions into the soulful blues rock number “I Got Trouble.” Crowe’s vocals exude conviction on this standout track.

Closing out the album is “Unavailable,” a song that showcases every member’s talent. Drummer Ryan Sargent demonstrates his solid timing with a mini drum solo to boot.

Void of filler, Into the Red is heavily riff driven into which the band poured their heart and soul. The band’s influences of Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, and Janis Joplin can be heard but does not impede their genuine passion and authenticity to shine through.
